How Bumble & Brush Came to BEE...

I’m Jessica, the face behind Bumble & Brush!

Bumble & Brush all started with a little spark of joy and one very proud little girl.

When my daughter was just 8 months old, I made her a name peel canvas using painter’s tape. We painted it together, peeled to reveal her name, and hung her little masterpiece on her bedroom door.

Now, every time we walk in or out, she points to her painting and proudly says “Mum!” And even though she was tiny when we made it, she still lights up every time she sees it. We stop, have a little chat about it, and I get to watch her excitement all over again.

And that’s where the idea started to buzz!

I realised that not every name works with painter’s tape, so I started experimenting with stencils, testing, trialling and re-trialling until Bumble & Brush was born.

What started as one little canvas for my daughter has grown into something I’m so excited to share with other children and families.

Because Bumble & Brush isn’t just about the canvas. It’s about the proud little eyes, big smiles and tiny fingers pointing at their creation every time they see it.

It’s about creating something together, making memories, and giving little artists something they can proudly say:

“I made that!”
